Hosted by Ginger Cove, Annapolis, MD

Join LeadingAge Maryland for a day exploring innovation and creativity. In the morning, Mira Azarm and Brooke Smith from the University of Maryland's Academy for Innovation and Entrepreneurship will engage participants in Innovation Mindsets and Behaviors. Using Harvard Professor Clayton Christensen's work with innovative CEOs, Azarm and Smith will provide multi-field examples and interactive opportunities for participants to learn the techniques of observing, questioning, networking and experimenting. These can be applied by people at every level of the organization to stimulate a culture of innovation.

In the afternoon, Dr. Judah Ronch, Dean of the Erickson School, and Galina Madjaroff, a technology-oriented faculty member at the Erickson School, will continue the theme of innovation, focusing particularly on aging services. Applying principles of design thinking to everyday challenges and opportunities can yield surprising results, particularly when groups of colleagues share perspectives.

The Fall Leaders Forum-- Using Innovation to Create Opportunities and Solve Problems-- promises to be lively and stimulating! Be sure to bring your team so these new insights and techniques can be put to immediate use in your organization.
